A dead, patchy lawn is one of the most frustrating things to deal with - especially in Colorado where water restrictions make it nearly impossible to keep natural grass alive. This Thornton homeowner was done fighting it. They wanted a yard that actually looked great without the constant watering, mowing, and brown spots.

We came in and built them exactly that. The main lawn area is covered in thick, lush artificial turf that stays green all year regardless of watering schedules or drought conditions. Clean concrete edging lines the perimeter, separating the turf from the decorative rock borders. The result is a yard that looks sharp and put-together with zero ongoing effort.

The real bonus here is the putting green. We built a multi-hole layout that runs along the side of the house - a dedicated space to work on your short game without ever leaving home. Two flag cups, smooth consistent roll, and a shape that fits naturally into the yard. It's the kind of feature that gets used every single day.

What we love about setups like this is that nothing conflicts. The turf lawn handles the main outdoor living space. The putting green handles the fun. The rock and edging handle the low-maintenance framing. Every part of the yard has a purpose, and none of it needs water to stay looking like this.

Water restrictions in Colorado are only getting stricter. More and more homeowners are making the switch to artificial turf not just because it looks great, but because it flat out makes sense. No sprinkler systems to maintain, no dead patches to reseed, no muddy mess after rain. Just a clean, usable yard year-round.
