This one was a two-for-one. The front yard had older turf that had run its course - worn, faded, and just not doing the property any favors. We pulled it out and installed a higher-quality product that immediately changed the look of the whole yard. Clean edges, rich color, and a tight fit against the existing rock border. Night and day difference from the street.
Here's where it got interesting. Instead of hauling that old front yard turf off to a landfill, we relocated it to the backyard. With some prep work and a proper install, it came out looking almost brand new. That's not always possible, but when the turf has been well-maintained and it's still got life in it, repositioning it is a smart move - both for the homeowner's budget and for cutting down on waste.
The backyard setup had some real character to work with - raised garden beds, gravel paths, a covered patio area. We worked the turf around all of it so everything fit together naturally. The result is a functional green space that holds up alongside the garden beds without competing with them.
Not every turf job is a straight removal and replacement. Sometimes the smarter play is figuring out what can still be used and where. That's the kind of thinking we bring to every artificial turf installation - looking at the whole picture instead of just defaulting to the easiest option.
If your turf is looking tired up front but you're not sure what to do with it, there might be more value in that material than you think. We're happy to take a look and walk you through what makes sense for your specific yard.
