This one in Backcountry at Highlands Ranch was a great build. The homeowners wanted a yard that actually works - somewhere the kids could run around, friends could hang out, and nobody had to spend their weekends fighting a sprinkler system or pushing a mower around.
We installed a full artificial turf lawn that covers the main backyard area from the house all the way out to the patio seating space. It's lush, it's even, and it looks great from every angle. No dead patches, no muddy spots after rain, no watering schedule to keep up with. Just a clean, usable yard.
Then there's the putting green. We built it right into the turf layout so it feels like a natural part of the yard - not something just plopped down in a corner. Three holes, smooth contours, and a tighter-pile turf surface that rolls the way a real green should. It's the kind of thing you use every single day without thinking twice about it.
What we love about builds like this is how much the yard actually gets used after we're done. There's space for the kids, a spot to entertain, and something fun for anyone who wants to sneak in a few putts before dinner. The whole thing stays green and clean without any real maintenance effort on the homeowner's part - and that's exactly the point.
Backcountry properties have great outdoor space, and this one is set up to take full advantage of it. If you've been thinking about replacing your lawn with turf or adding a putting green to your backyard setup, this is a solid example of what's possible when both come together in the same design.
